this group only one teacher had ever used a handheld computer. From
basic operation to Graffiti direct instruction was needed. This
instruction took a bulk of the day. As a presenter I have never seen a
group of teachers so excited about a technology tool! For a good part of
the day we lost the focus on digital storytelling and explored ways to
make the most of handheld computers. Rob, one of the teachers, is a
power user and he did a great job of sharing what he knew with the
group. although we lost focus for part of the day, the teachers were
able to really feel comfortable with the new tool. |
