Goal: To create a cadre of students to enrich and expand our technology integration efforts.

Goal: To develop reading skills and a life long love of reading.

• Connect with authors on-line

• Explore the thousands of resources by author and illustrator Jan Brett

• PDA’s for the teachers to record running records for assessment

• Earbotics software to improve phonemic awareness

• Use digital editing software to demonstrate growth in reading fluency

• Use a WebQuests related to a book being read in the classroom

• Visit a virtual museum related to one of the books the class has read
